On Tuesday, May 7th, we were allowed to welcome Franziska Brantner, State Secretary of Parliament of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, to our office. During the visit, we had the opportunity to introduce the world of electroplating technology and our industry to her and the accompanying delegation, and to learn more about our products, development and team in Geslingen.

Other guests included Marcel Emmerich, a member of the Ulm/Alb Danube County Federal Parliament, and representatives of the local Green Party, who were impressed by what happened behind the inconspicuous exterior wall of Talgraben 30. One highlight was visiting our R&D department, where we showcased our latest advancements in coating systems for circuit board technology and our efforts to support the hydrogen economy (tag # H2GIGA). Visited our technology center (with over 80 processes ranging from 60 to 500 liters) and wastewater treatment plant, making the plan even more successful. The delegation was deeply impressed by the hidden champion Schl ö tter Galvanotechnik, whose products are used around the world to develop processes for the high-tech industry. They now and in the future see themselves as medium-sized family businesses – currently in their fourth generation.

During the visit, it is particularly important for us to point out that sustainable development themes (family businesses, climate protection, decarbonization, long-term economic success, good employers, good corporate culture, training, and lifelong learning) are the focus of our attention in all aspects, but we must also have the economic strength to achieve these goals. To achieve this, we first need to reduce bureaucracy, increase trust in our company, and plan for security and reliability. As a clear example of the greatest uncertainty, we have listed the endless fluctuations in the regulation of hexavalent chromium in surface technology. In a letter to the Minister of Economy, Dr. Habeck, and the Secretary of State, Dr. We would like to point out other key points to Brantner.

We thank the Secretary of State, Dr. Brantner had an inspiring exchange with all the guests.
